Bangkok - Thursday 6 February 2014

Good afternoon from a very hot and sticky Bangkok!

This morning I have been cooking.  I waited for them to come and collect me - no one came lol.  So I sat and played with one of the kittens who kept me up all night.mmthere used to be three; there are now two so that's 200 points lol. Mother brilliant girl from the guest house called and someone arrived in a tuk tuk and we were off!

When I got there they had started. Just chopping vegetables.  There were two French Canadian blokes, very easy on the eye and a lovely French accent lol. A man and woman from Toronto, then Ivan from Slovakia - I have no ideal where that was.  I ended up cooking with Ivan as he was in his own too.  We had such a laugh, he was ace lol.  Oh mmmm and tall, dark, broad lol tick tick tick.  Seriously all of us had such a great four hours it went so quick.  So I'm going to open a Thai takeaway in Wetley Rocks lol.  I learned so many dishes and they were all so tasty.  All vegetarian and just to die for - you are all going to want to come for tea lol.

After the cooking I went to change up some money.  I don't need any, far from it but at Ko Mak there is no ATM so I thought I may as well change up £60 I'm coming back here next time and it will keep.  Just in cases. Did a little shopping some cashews at a fraction of UK price and some insense sticks again so cheap.  So back at coffee shop across from hostel, typing this and having a strawberry and kiwi smoothly as you do in February lol.

So a lovely morning and a quiet afternoon.  I need to swim now, I need the sea lol.  I will be up at six tomorrow need to get a cab and be at bus station  for 8:40.  The coach takes six hours and last ferry is 16:30 so it will be a long day so probably no blog tomorrow but a couple today!!

Lol so let me know when I need to cook but I'm going to have fun finding some of the fresh ingredients in Stoke lol.

So I will have another drink in a bit

Then all my washing has been done.  I have far too many clothes and I bought less than I took to Australia!  It's because I can have things washed here at the hostel.  Still I will know for next time.  So I will pack and shower later then I think I shall take Chris's advice (see I said he knows me better than I know me and tahrs why he scares me lol) and go for a full Thai massage.  Which, at the time will be the longest hour of my lied and I will feel that I have done ten rounds wit Tyson, but my knee is fine today and legs don't ache.  I have walked up so many steps,to so many temples.  My shoes have been on and off so many times.  You can tell at the hostel which room is mine as it looks like Imelda Marcos has moved in lol so many shoes.  I have knelt down, stood up, prayed, meditated, found peace in chaos. It's been good. So good.  I have had the time of my life.  It's taught me that anything is possible if you are ready to do it.
