So taking Chris's word for it (because he seems to be totally I tuned with me and that's what scares me lol) I went to get a Thai massage at the same place I went to last evening for foot massage. I walked in the door and the woman who was subjected to my feet last night lol was justnso pleased to see me. She gave me a huge smile and held my hands and was bowing, I was quite touched lol. I explained to her that I would like a full Thai massage for an hour. She didn't for do that but another beautiful young woman (behave yourself Lee lol) washed my feet and then we went upstairs. I was given some cotton trousers and top to wear, mmmmm we shall leave it at that lol. Then we were off. In all honesty Chris was right lol, my legs and in particular my calves did not hurt as much. For any of younwho have never had a Thai massage please you tube it. The woman uses her hands, arms, shoulders, legs, feet to massage you. It's like a joint yoga session, she uses her body against yours it is an amazing experience. Ok parts hurt like hell and bones were clicking and legs were put in places they certainly haven't been but in for a long, long while lol. But how good did I feel! I joke that I am 29 in my head well trust me tonight I thought I had the body of a 29 year old again. An amazing experience. As I was about to leave I heard a little voice say is that you Karen? It was the lovely German woman's from the previous nifhtn(I can't remember her name, I am so bad at names, sorry girls)! She was next door having an oil massage and her Austrian friend was across the way having a Thai massage, if was so lovely to see them again. I left them this blog address and email address so that they can find me on FB. I shouldn't have worried as they come to join me for dinner at Jenny's opposite. We had a lovely evening again. It just amazes me now the world speaks English when the only German I can remember is my name is Karen and I am 15 years old - because I was when I learnt how to say that. I think the girls were impressed lol. We said our good byes I hope they keep in touch and I went to buy fruit for my bus journey tomorrow.
I can't tell you how lovely the fruit and vegetables are here, they look and taste so good. Whilst buying fruit I started chatting to a woman on her own traveling just like me but she was from Moscow. Yes her english was brilliant. I said the only Russian I know is dasvadarnya and can never remember if that is hello or goodbye which let's face it, is me all over. Lol it's goodbye lol. There is always someone to chat too if you look. The age difference, culture or language doesn't matter. We are all citizens of this planet it is truly a wonderful experience.
Feeling relaxed, belly full - the guy whose restaurant is was so lovely when I thanked him for such good food. Again you are made to feel you have made a friend. So back to my little room. Then I facetimed Andy and Jenny at work - how cool is that. It wa lovely to see them, I got quite emotional. We chatted for ages then Sharon come to say hello too, it was great. They showed me the weather lol and I showed them the fan lol lol. Technology is amazing. And so to bed as a busy day tomorrow but how exciting x
